English FUNdamentals is a 50-minute class that uses textbooks to build a solid foundation in English. It is designed to support children who are new to English as well as those with prior experience, helping them further develop their language skills. The lessons incorporate textbooks alongside games and physical activities in the spacious classroom, creating a fun and engaging learning environment.
Green Tree Englishでは、年齢に合わせた少人数クラスで、50分間たっぷり英語を体験します。 教室は広く、自由に体を動かせるスペースがあるので、 じっと 座っているだけのレッスンではありません。 歌ったり、走ったり、遊んだり、時にはクラフトや科学実験も。 「英語の時間＝楽しい時間」になるように、 子どもたちが自然と英語を感じて、使って、身につけるレッスンを行っています。 遊びの中で「意味のある英語」を何度も聞き、声に出すことで、 単語の暗記ではなく、本当の「ことばの力」が育っていきます。
FUNdamentals Class Flow
1. Greetings
Students greet the teacher one by one upon entering the classroom, then the entire class greets each other to start the lesson.

2.Review Time
The class reviews what was learned in the previous lesson, practising phrases and vocabulary through activities.
↓
3. Textbook Learning
Students use the textbook to learn new words and phrases
↓
4. Activities and Games
Using the newly learned language, students participate in physical games such as team competitions, dodgeball, or tag.
↓
5. Homework Explanation
The teacher explains the day’s homework, and the lesson concludes.
Note: On certain weeks, the "English FUNdamentals" class features special lessons such as crafts, experiments, or cooking activities.
